Biography:

With a lifetime of working in theater and as an intercultural dancer combining traditional Middle Eastern and Contemporary Dance, Djahari Clark has traveled the world as a teacher, director and performer. Her specialty is in creating provocative stories and characters through emotional immersion and experimental movement. In 1999 she started Desert Sin Dance Theater in Los Angeles with Tatianna Smith. Now based in New York, Djahari continues to produce and choreograph original productions, direct Desert Sin, as well as collaborate with other inspiring artists
