This interpretive ensemble choreography is inspired by sacred fire rituals from ancient Persia and draws from contemporary Iranian dance technique and vocabulary. Best performed in low lighting, dancers will hold (battery-operated) candles; floating, twisting, and swaying in graceful and intricate configurations.
